Modernising Rotary for the Future
Lee Wilkinson, Past Assitant Governor was guest speaker at the club on 13 March and ran a interesting workshop on the subject of “Attracting people to engage with Rotary”. A key theme for all clubs in Rotary is attracting new members to join so the organisation can maintain all its work supporting the local community.
Lee explained the importance of making sure the clubs program of events and activities supports aligns with the changing needs of the local community in Johnsonville, Churton Park, Paparangi, and Newlands. This will help modernise Rotary and make it attractive to new members.
