Graeme Mander, of Johnsonville Rotary club has sadly passed away. Graeme joined Johnsonville Rotary in 1971, was Club President between 1981 and 1982, and made a Paul Harris Fellow in 1987. Graeme was highly respected throughout the Rotary world, an active leader on many club projects and served District Rotary on the Rotary Foundation Scholarship Committee.

Graeme ran Wellington–based Mander Plumbing for 60 years, serving his apprenticeship under his father and took over running the business in 1965 and continued working until his retirement in 2019. Graeme was a National Life Member of Master Plumbers, he served on the National Council of the Society for over 25 years, was National President from 1985-86 and again in 1999.

He was the Master Plumbers representative on the Industry Training Board and also served as New Zealand representative on the World Plumbing Council for nine years from 1996.

Our love is extended to Graeme’s wife Christina and their three daughters and their families.
