Paul Harris Fellow Award presented to Michele Rowe
On 10 February Johnsonville Rotary was proud to welcome and honour Michele Rowe of the Newlands Community House. Michele was awarded Rotary International’s prestigious Paul Harris Fellow Award in recognition of all her voluntary work in the local community over many years. This includes Newlands Food Bank, running a Soup Kitchen, working with low risk offenders from Corrections, working with Kiwi Community Assistance as well as managing volunteers in nurturing and planting native trees and shrubs in local schools and local community areas.

The award was presented to Michele by club member Vince Adams-Schneider who coordinates the clubs “Toot for Tucker” program that supports the Newlands Food Bank.
