Our first meeting of 2024 is on Monday 12th February when we welcome guest Laurie Bond who be entertaining us with a talk on the life of the famous Scottish poet; Robert Burns. Later in the month we will have our Summer BBQ. All meetings are open to all so, if you are interested in coming along just get in touch using “Contact Us”
In December we were pleased to bring the annual Johnsonville Christmas market to the town centre with over 40 stalls offering a wide range gifts, food, plants, and locally produced craft goods. Visitors were entertained with live music from the Wellington Carnival Street band and dancers from our local Sri Lankan community.
We would like to thanks all the stallholders and everyone who visited the market. Our special thanks go to Johnsonville Shopping Centre for hosting the market.
We have events planned for 2024 but we are always in new members to join us so we can do more to support our local community in Johnsonville, Churton Park, and Newlands.
