The club kicked off the new year with a BBQ at the Ohariu Valley Golf Club. Club Services Director; Alex Giorgades booked a beautiful sunny summers day for the event and also cooked a traditional South African style BBQ for members and their families to enjoy.

On Saturday 12th December 2020 the club celebrated Christmas and the end of Rotary Club program for the year with a Christmas Party for members, gusts and friends. It was a special meeting as it also saw the induction of new member Maria Reyes. The club also welcomed Maria’s family as guests to the dinner.

On 31st August the club were the guests of Johnsonville Lions. Lions President Angela Amber welcomed members of the club to their club meeting. The Guest Speaker was Rebecca Priestley from Victoria University who gave a presentation on her experience visiting Antartica and also share some insights about climate change from her research.

Rotary is not just about doing charitable work and raising money for worthy causes. Over Christmas and the New Year break members, partners and friends all came together for some fun events.
