The new Community Library in Johnsonville Mall
Johnsonville has a new Community Library set up by Johnsonville Rotary and Johnsonville Shopping Centre.
On Tuesday 26th September Centre Manager, Kirsty Macgregor and Johnsonville Rotary President, Athula Wanasinghe welcomed Wellington City Councillors Tony Randall and John Apanowicz as they cut the ribbon to open the new community library located inside the Johnsonville Mall.
It’s a local free library for visitors to the Shopping Centre to use. The books to get started have been donated by Rotary, Wellington Library, and members of the community.
So if your visiting the library or just coming in to get a coffee, feel free to browse, borrow a book, or take a seat in the library and relax and read. All that’s asked is you return the book when you’ve finished.
